Our gourmet bed and breakfast is situated just two miles from Dulverton, sitting on the borders of West Somerset, North Devon & Exmoor National Park. Set at the end of our private lane in a secluded valley we are surrounded by beautiful scenery in a rural and tranquil setting.
Three luxury bedrooms each have a contemporary en-suite bathroom and are set within our sensitively converted barn. There is a separate guest entrance into the barn which also offers a cosy guest lounge & woodburner.
The conservatory linking through to our farm house provides a dining room for evening dinner and breakfast, plus space for you to relax during your stay.
Sleeping up to six, the barn is also perfect for your exclusive use. Evening dinner parties and bespoke cookery courses are available upon request.
Our renowned dinner menu is available each evening except Wednesdays and Sundays. With a keen focus on bringing the best out of the wonderful local and seasonal produce, our food has an enthusiastic following among our regular guests. We also regularly cater for guests with special diets.
Streamcombe is in a very peaceful location surrounded by woods & fields. Amazing wildlife such as the Red Deer are seen frequently in the fields along our driveway.
The venue is available for exclusive use, for your family reunions, parties or wedding celebrations. We can provide a complete package for you, including all of your delicious food!

The delicious sausages and fantastic bacon are from Farthings Farm Shop in Dulverton, who produce all of their own meat at Kendle Farn, Exton. We have a lovely group of free range hens and Guinea Fowl who produce the best, freshest, yellowest yolked eggs you will ever see or taste!
Our evening dinner menus offer an interesting selection of contemporary and classic dishes, featuring the best local and seasonal Exmoor produce including lamb, venison and partridge and fish fresh from Appledore and Brixham.
Ian bakes his own bread daily - the Streamcombe Sourdough! This is ready in time for evening dinner, and served for breakfast, when it makes such perfect toast. You will be very tempted to try making your own once you`ve tried it!

Exmoor is home to wild ponies, red deer and birds of prey, providing visitors, walkers and cyclists with the opportunity to enjoy real open spaces, wonderful scenery and wildlife. A challenging footpath leads directly from the garden to Dulverton, across fields and streams, and revealing some outstanding views of Somerset. We have a selection of maps available for your use.
We can organise fly fishing on the Rivers Barle and Exe, horseriding on the moors for all levels of experience. Exmoor is of course perfect for walking and cycling, plus sailing and windsurfing are available nearby at Wimbleball Lake. The best beaches for swimming and surfing are at the award winning Putsburough Beach at Woolacombe Bay, less than one hours drive.
