OUT AND ABOUT
Exmoor is home to wild ponies, red deer and birds of prey, providing visitors, walkers and cyclists with the opportunity to enjoy real open spaces, wonderful scenery and wildlife. A challenging footpath leads directly from the garden to Dulverton, across fields and streams, and revealing some outstanding views of Somerset. We have a selection of maps available for your use.
We also have 33 acres of fields and woodlands that you are welcome to explore.
We can organise fly fishing on the Rivers Barle and Exe, horseriding on the moors for all levels of experience. Exmoor is of course perfect for walking and cycling, plus sailing and windsurfing are available nearby at Wimbleball Lake. The best beaches for swimming and surfing are at the award winning Putsburough Beach at Woolacombe Bay, less than one hours drive.
